This Lynndie England chick is nuts
At this point, I don't know if I would believe a word she said. It seems that she is embellishing things a bit much. I suspect that she is not exactly the most stable of young women.
And if her new allegations are true, then she should come here and live in the Ft. Leavenworth Disciplinary Barracks for many, many years. Because she was involved. With it all.

A fair number of germans and japanese dangled at the end of a rope because that defense was rejected.
All of these soldiers got the "Law of Land Warfare" brief.
All of these soldiers got the Code of Conduct and other briefs in basic and beyond.
It's no excuse. If it's true - all we've done is expand the universe of people who need to come live with us here in leafy Leavenworth.
Not reduce it.

I am not sure what is the most distasteful thing in that article, but the long term that scares me is that she is reproducing with another nut case. Blech.

When I was in the Army, there was an avenue to complain, Inspector General which we all knew about. I used it too when NCO's behaved inappropriately. Didn't matter if they were over me or not, we all knew the rules and if one didn't follow them, they got reported. When I was in the MP's, there was one sergeant that we reported, he ended up getting kicked out of the Reserves.
There is no excuse for her behavior. She is despicable.

She had the right to respectfully disobey orders. Seems to me that her lack of willingness to do so makes her a responsible as anyone else.
She's an asshat.
