Suntan stuff

Tomorrow morning, I am off to Orlando, Florida. I thought it might be nice to look a little tan, so I bought this Endless Summer stuff by Coppertone.

However, I just read the instructions, and it says you can't put on any clothes for 45 minutes or so after applying. 45 minutes that you can't sit down on furniture, or let a cat or a dog come near you. 45 minutes of avoiding everything?

Nah, I think I'll skip the tanning juice. I can't stay still for 45 minutes!

Oh, weather is nice down here right now. It's getting hot though. I would worry more about the sun screen! If you're going to be out and about down here, think SPF 45. Seriously. It's already 90 degrees and the sun was really intense yesterday!

You picked the perfect time! But Boudicca is right - don't forget the sunscreen. Welcome!!! :)

I am working in an office every day, but I was hoping to maybe get out and about after 5:00 - can the sun hurt you then?

Well, that shouldn't do too much damage, if you have any color at all. I would still recommend SPF 8 the first afternoon - if you don't get any color then go to 4. (I LOVE the sun, so I've made this my hobby!) :)

Depending on how long you're here, drop me an e-mail. Orlando is my territory. I would be honored to buy you a drink!

Hope you get a chance to enjoy a bit of your time outside.

You should be fine after 5, as Tammi said. My rule of thumb with my kids (and for myself) is out of the sun from 10-4. Heavy heavy sunscreen in between and I now make us all wear surfer rash board shirts in the pool or at the beach. The sun is just very damaging down here. I joke you can get a tan walking by a window. :) Have fun! You've hit us when we're not scorching!

I couldn't sit still for that long either - - whoever thinks up products like that apparently doesn't use them often.

Have fun in Orlando :)
