Speaking of furry critters
Andy, son and heir to the Donovan fortune (ha ha), is back home from his first year at college.
Now, Andy started shaving when he was 12 - he actually needed to. He had pretty hairy legs by age 14, and Hobbit Feet soon after.
Yesterday morning, he was walking around without his shirt, and he now has hair on his upper chest.
Poor Andy, wouldn't you know that he would come of age in an era where hairless men seem to be 'in'. Andy, thank God, would never have his body waxed or shaved, but the smooth skin thing on guys (there is something not right with that to my mind) has caused him to refuse to wear shorts.
It can be 105 degrees, and Andy won't wear shorts because of his hairy legs.
Sigh.

I have not even begun to understand this smooth man phenomena that seems to be occuring. What is that about? I like my men hairy. Women=smooth. Men=hair. My husband was like Andy, shaving at 12 because he HAD to. He has 5:00 shadow at 2. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Besides, hairy men lather nicely in the shower. :)

My husband's hairy, and I love it! I especially love his hairy legs!
Hairy legs on a man are sexy. I love it when he wears shorts. :D
Maybe they aren't to some homogenized, transgender, metrosexual whackos, but to a LOT of women, real women, they are sexy as hell.

I like the hobbit feet.
My son is also one hairy dude and has always been self conscious about it. What can a mom do? We can tell our kids how beautiful they are but when they get bombarded by the media on what is the "right look" our mom talk goes in one ear and out the other.

I love a big hairy strong guy. Screw the media and the metrosexuals. Nothing like a big strong man with hairy arms around you and then....oh MY! I have to go now.

LOL. I love my hairy guy, too. Looks like John was maybe worried with his comment?
All that hair makes for a warm snuggle when it's cold in winter.

Are hairless men in? Really?
If so, then count me out-of-the-loop. I like my men furry, I'm talking of the Muppet variety. The more fur the better. I don't want a skinny, hairless rat of a man. I want a MAN, and in that MAN term, comes the definition of furry Muppet.
Definitely.
Tell Andy that REAL WOMEN look for real MEN! :)
