Bar conversation
I sat in the little hotel bar with my diet coke, and then later, a glass of wine. A young man sat there also, and we struck up a conversation.
He was really annoyed with Bush, and said - I watched his speech last night - it all consisted of kill them, kill them, kill them, kill them, kill them.
I replied - but if we don't do that, they will kill us, kill us, kill us, kill us, kill us.
He looked at me as if a lightbulb had turned on, and said. Oh. You have a point.

Beth, Changing America One Person At A Time! :) Seriously, I hope it stays on too and good for you for getting someone to think. I'm very frustrated with our country for not wanting to open their eyes as to what is really going on. They think that mainstream Muslims over there are like our Mainstream Christians, Jews or Hindus. When you have a country that is so uneducated and so poor, the religion rules the people in every sense, just as Christinity did during the Christian crusades. I often wonder where exactly we would be as a nation, with Christianity, if we were not an overall educated society (we are overall mostly able to read and comprehend math) with so much economically available to us.
