Breaking News
My suitcase was just delivered. And I'll bet that Delta has no idea I have it. Just one hour ago, I called, and they said they still had not found it.
I am very relieved, though. Hope this does not happen next week!

Hate losing luggage.
Only happened to me once. ONCE. That was enough for me to go with carry on only.
Good luck!

At least the guy in Minneapolis knew what he was doing!

I use to carry on a rucksack only but after 9/11 UK airlines chopped the hand luggage weight allowance so that even that had to be checked. A large handbag is about the most you can have and as a man they don't suit me.

Are you going to tell them you have your luggage or wait to see if you can make a false claim? :D

Cheeky - They are most definitely going to pay for the clothes I had to buy Monday night - I had a business meeting Tuesday morning, and it was a very important one - so they owe me about $150.00.
Nah, I'm too honest to make a false claim. I only want what they owe me.

Only other thing I can think of is to pack a carry on with the bathroom essentials and a change of clothes and shoes. Thank goodness I don't have to travel much! But when I do, I only take carry-on. I don't trust those luggage handlers one little bit.
Heh - I know a woman who went to Europe on business for 2 weeks with 2 carry-ons. One for clothes one for laptop/attache case. I figured if she could do it (and she always looks good) I could do the same for lesser trips. *G*

Teresa, I can't do that! I have my backpack (where my laptop and files and software live) and a purse - that's all I am allowed to carry on! I really prefer to check luggage. Living where we do, I always seem to have to change planes, and I truly hate pulling a carryon back through the Atlanta scairport or O'hare or LAX.
