Oh, what a cool gadget

I may have to buy one of these: George Foreman USB iGrill

The low-fat, high-bandwidth solution to your networked cooking needs is finally here. The George Foreman USB iGrill conveniently connects to your home or office PC using USB 2.0 technology, and provides a sophisticated web-based cooking interface.

Wow, I had no idea...

I keep my eye out for new gadgets. It's an addiction.

damn, you figured it out, Triticale!

Tricksy. I was willing to believe it in principle, but for two caveats:

1) A "start it so your food is ready when you get home" approach doesn't work so well with a grill as with, say, a crock pot or bread machine. I don't want raw meat sitting in a grill all day waiting for a signal.

2) USB powered? Nuh uh. Capacitors big enough to turn USB trickle power into hamburger cooking goodness ain't gonna fit in that little case.

It's frighteningly plausible in general, though.
