Daily KOS readers are a bit
on the slow side. Way back last November, I linked to something DC wrote from this post.
Finally, a brave, superior reader of the site, Canuck Coot, commented on the post:
Your problem mostly is, you fascists are dead from the neck up anyway. That or your wearing your brownshirt buttoned up to the top again, and your neck is just too fat. (Obesity being the problem it is with you folks, I read in NewsWeek.)KOS is actually quite mundane,tame stuff. You Yankees don't know what real controversy and debate even is. You spend too much time involved in your own little incestuous world, dreaming your Great Power fantasies that lead only to defeat in places like Vietnam, and soon to be Iraq.
Notice how polite this Canuck guy is. No name calling from him, eh?
Anyway, I'm getting ready to go to the airport - if someone else wants to irritate him a bit - perhaps teach him the definition of facist, it's ok with me.

A survey linking obesity in the U.S. to political position? How come I never heard about it; surely if NewsWeek had it, other sources would have picked it up.

I would, but anyone who mixes fascists, yankees, Vietnam, and Iraq, is beyond untangling.
I'm also trying to figure out who he's calling "yankee". Is it all Americans? Only those who support the war? Those who live north of the Mason-Dixon line? The baseball team?
Nope it's all just too confusing for me. If you'll excuse me I'm going to go weigh myself. I don't believe I'm overweight, but I should check this out.
