I admired Democrats like Hubert Humphrey.
There are no more Democrats like Hubert Humphrey.
I'm too grown up for the rest of them.

It looks to me like the Democratic Party is in the midst of committing suicide. This isn't unprecedented in American history, the current Republican Party was built on the ashes of the old Whig Party.
It'll be interesting to see if we still have the same two parties in 10 years.

I tried to read the comments to his post and had to stop after the second one. Puh-leeze, could the commentor possibly take himself any more over-the-top seriously?
