The Flu!
Go read Da Goddess. She has some excellent posts about the FLU.
I have personal experience with the damage that Influenza can do to a person.
11 years ago, I was 4 months pregnant - just had a healthy sonogram.
But then, I got the flu. I was so sick and my fever so high (104) that I hallucinated, and worst of all, the fever killed my baby.
I have not missed a flu shot since. You should do the same.

There is again absolutely nothing that I can say to try to offer comfort, only as someone who has also lost little ones, I understand the feeling, which somehow never goes away, even if it does soften in time.
I'm sorry, ma'am. Sincerely.
Now have to get my flu shot, which I previously have skivved off of.
