for your kind words about Mickey. A lot of people don't understand how much some of us love our critters.

We are such suckers for animals. Any stray within miles seems to find his/her way to our front door. Sometimes I think John leaves trails of treats for them to find their way to our house!

Anyway, it means a lot that you care so much, thank you.

Dogs, for the most part, are better people than people are.

I've buried 2 of them that we raised from puppies, and I dread like hell the day my Luke the Boxer dies...I think he's the best dog I've ever owned.

My condolences, Beth...Mickey is in good company though, with my Pooch and Ako.

At the height of the crowd, we were once feeding 38 stray cats, who became regulars. I know how you feel.
