weekends

I love weekends. We get to sleep in until nearly 8:00 am sometimes, depending on which of the canine horde slept outside. (Little Guy has a bladder control issue and often has to go out at 1 or 2 or 3 am - he's old and probably needs a bionic roscoe or something to fix that).

The Spare Dog, Houdini, snuggled between us this morning until 7:53, then he started wriggling because that is what he does when his little bladder is about to burst.

The cat collective was very good, too. John had wisely put food in their seven little bowls last night so they would not jump all over us at 5:00 am begging for breakfast.

Now both John and I are lazing around in our 'computer room' on our pc's, surfing and blogging. This morning, I read for the first time, Everyday Stranger. She's pretty much x-rated, but fun to read. John likes her blog a lot, what a surprise!

Frank J. wrote a great "I hate you" letter to Michael Moore, the evil son of a female dog.

I'm reading all the entries in the New Weblog Showcase. I'm entered, so everyone needs to go there and read all the entries and then pick mine, mine, mine!!!!!! Remember, you can link to up to three blogs entered!

Now, I need to go soak in the bathtub a bit - a few bubbles, a book, and some candles. I like to do that on Saturday mornings - which is silly, because then I'll go up to the stable and play with the horses and get all dirty and smelly all over again, but I like the smell of horses.
