What is wrong with people like this guy?

He is all concerned that Saddam did not receive a fair trial.

Does he have any concern at all for the thousands upon thousands of Saddam's victims?

Not giving him a fair trial tells us that we're dealing with the rule of men, not the rule of law. Which means we're all vulnerable, because if there's no requirement that someone get a fair trial then there's no requirement that the victim actually be guilty of anything.

Same like getting rid of habeas corpus: they say it doesn't apply to citizens, but if you have no right to habeas corpus, they need not let you show that you're a citizen. Neat, huh?

There are lots of things wrong with me. I wish I could shoot a basketball better. I wish I was more coordinated. I wish I was smarter just to name a few.

You missed my point. I'm not worried about Saddam. I'm worried about America. We need to do right. Period. If we are going to take to the time and effort to try someone do it right as we did in WWII. Don't pretend that we are trying him. Do it right. Make him an example of America's fairness then execute him in the electric chair but turning the voltage up one volt at a time for days if you want.

On the other hand, if we were just going to kill the guy because we KNOW that he is a "bad" man then we should have dropped a cruise missile on his head or had a couple of snipers take him out at 500 yards.

Do it right or don't do it at all.

Well then I guess you should be happy with America since we didn't do it - the Iraqi people did.
