I want a restaurant/bar like this at home!!!
I am sitting in the bar at Cobblestones, a great restaurant/bar in Lowell, MA. I have had dinner here 4 or 5 times - 3 in the last week and 1/2. But I didn't realize they have free wireless broadband!!!! Now, if I could just find an electrical socket when my battery gets low...
Anyway, I will eat here tonight, tomorrow and the next night - then I'm going home. They have a great selection of food - you can have anything from homemade macaroni and cheese (with BACON!!) to a fancy gourmet wild game dish (varies each week) to a cheese tray with baguette (my dinner tonight).
They make a mean margarita. I do wish John had been able to come here with me over the weekend, but we were concentrating on Boston eateries.
If you are ever in or near Lowell - I highly recommend this place - A++++!!

Wow, that place looks wonderful! I really need to have you two over sometime SOON. There's a spot in my "grown-up room" that we've been using for a formal dining area... except we only eat "formal" dinners twice a year, tops. Personally, I want to convert it to a bar, complete with overhead storage, hanging glasses, a nice wine rack and shelves featuring the various liquors.
VH says it'd just encourage my bad tendencies.
I say it'd encourage me to have folks over more often because, after all, it's not good to drink alone.
