Springtime in Kansas

Yeah, it's another one of those stormy spring nights. The sirens have gone off 4 times tonight - at least one tornado went north of us and two have gone just south of us. But they are little tornados - the biggest problem now will be flooding - not for us, we are up too high to get the flooding.

They talked about the possibility of storms this morning, and I had to drive from Leavenworth to Lawrence, Kansas. I was hoping to see some weather, so I brought our Cannon Rebel digital with me, but it stayed clear - though hot and humid!!

I'm just as happy that I didn't see any neat storms - that means that the weather, although rainy, stormy and even haily, is not tornadoie!
