Recuperating
Thank God I work at home now. I have bronchitis and a sinus infection and I'm pretty much a mess. But I can work from bed since I'm now a virtual associate!
I've been sick for 3 weeks now - I swear, I will never, never, ever travel for work when I'm sick again. Last week, I could barely make it to the office and then back to the hotel. Because I was in LA, I thought maybe I could drive down to San Diego to see DaGoddess, but I was too sick to drive for two hours.
I am on all kinds of drugs - and an inhaler. ugh. I'm turning into my mother with all these pills.
Needless to say, I've not been doing much of anything in the way of blogging. It's all I can do to make sure the Carnival of the Recipes gets passed to the correct person each week, and I've not been very great at that lately, either.
Andy comes home from college on Friday - I'll drive out to Manhattan and get him and all his junk. Then he is going back out there the first of June- he is getting an apartment there with a couple of girls.
It's time for Andy to be more independent - he has a job at McDonalds if he can't find anything else, and he is trying to get on at FedEx.
It does look like I'll be travelling to Banbury, Great Britain a little later this month. I don't have the final ok yet - should get that tomorrow so I can get a flight and a hotel room. I would love for John to come with me, but I found that there are no great deals on flights when there is only about a week's notice.
I will take the camera with me. Which reminds me. I have all kinds of great pictures from my travels of the last couple of months. I suppose I should post some of them - some good stories go with some.
Anyway, I will try to be a little more steady here. I'm feeling a bit better, and I have a little more time.
