The heck with bar blogging

I had to come up to my room. There was a tiny little blonde 45 year-old woman talking about her recent hysterectomy - it all its gory detail - and everyone in the hotel bar heard every damn word.

She was sitting about 20 feet from me - at the bar - talking to some poor man who made the ultimate mistake of mentioning that he was a doctor.

Everyone out there in blogoland - listen to me - do not talk about any surgery - ever - in public - especially in an establishment where food and drink are served. And in private, be sure the poor soul you are talking to really wants to hear about it all.
