Independence, Declaration of

On July 4th, 1776, our forefathers declared our independence from England.

It would be nice if this year, on July 4th, we, the People, could renew our Declaration of Independence just to let the rest of the world know that we are not under the jurisdiction of the UN or the EU or NATO or SEATO or any other bunch of letters out there.

AP, UPI, NPR, CBS, ABC, NBC or Reuters do not rule us.

We are free men and women. We are more free than anyone else on earth. But too many of us are willing to give it all up so that Europeans will like us better. Or so the UN will be able to take over the world or whatever.

Too many Americans are willing to give up our sovereignty and our freedoms.

May we never again live under the rule of a foreign country or countries.

Those Americans who don't like it, well, either work within the system, or go move to your favorite European country - see how you like those taxes and socialized health systems. But don't tell the rest of us how we should bow to the European/UNian or others as servants to them.
