I am very lucky
I bitch about all the traveling I have to do for work.
I complain about a lot of things.
But really, I have a wonderful life.
I have a wonderful, loving, fun and intelligent husband and I have a son who makes me proud every day.
I have always loved animals, and I have been fortunate enough to be able to afford to have all our cats and dogs and our two horses.
I live in the best country on earth. I thank God every day for that.
I can say what I want, when I want, where I want.
I own property.
I have the freedom to choose how to worship or not to worship - I can be an athiest, an agnostic, a Jew, a Catholic, a Protestant, Budhist, or even a Muslim.
I can wear clothes that I choose, that I like, without the state telling me I am improper.
I can have any friends I want to have.
I can read what I want to read.
I am free to pursue my interests in pottery, gardening, anything.
We live in a wonderful community, Leavenworth, Kansas. We can travel where we want to.
I would love to see people in other countries have the same wonderful, blessed life that I have.
I want the people of Iraq, especially the women of Iraq to have the same opportunities that we have here.
The US Marines are working hard for the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people.
We can help them.
Spirit of America has no overhead - all the money you donate (minus any credit card fees) go directly to help our military help the Iraqi people - from television stations to school to hospitals, SOA helps.
So ... please ... donate just $5 or $10 or $20. You are helping our Service Men and Women to help Iraqi people to be free.
