It's tough to blog...

when I'm out of town working. I normally get up around 5:00 am, try to make sense of where the hell I am, shower, realize that I forgot the blouse that goes with the skirt I planned to wear today, and try to put something together that doesn't look too shitty.

I am hardly a fashion maven (*snort*, hack, snort again). But I am supposed to look 'professional'. Ha. It doesn't matter how hard I try, no matter what size I am at the time- small or large, I am never 'put together'.

I wore uniforms all through grade school and high school - maybe that's the problem, I never had a chance to gain any 'fashion sense'. I am a tomboy at heart, but I still like pretty dresses, if they look decent on me!

Anyway, clients seem to put up with the fact that I never look put together. I think it's because I'm pretty good at my job and I'm really good at making clients like me. It's a good thing I decided not to go to law school back when I got divorced from Andy's dad (the lawyer). I would never look good in court!

When I have finally done enough to leave work and head for the hotel, it is at least 6 pm. If I decide to find a restaurant, I won't be back until 8. Then I always have some documentation to do - I can't even read any other blogs, not even John's!

I talk to John after that, and then I'm pooped, and I need to go to sleep! So, consider this an apology for not being interesting or entertaining or anything this week. I'll be home tomorrow. I'll catch up on what's going on on earth, and I'll be back.
