 No, really, you can't make this stuff up: Justice department about to indict Chinese officials for hacking US computers.

Chinese counter-charges re: NSA in 3... 2... 1...

Clearly, rules for thee, but not for me applies not to just US citizens, but the world. In that, at least, the government is consistent.

Besides the obvious hypocrisy and how that will play out in world opinion, I have never heard of anything good coming from deliberately antagonizing your banker.

I'm not sure how much practical use it is to charge employees, officers, or agents of a foreign nation for actions done from within said nation. Filtering your internet to eliminate the Chinese internet addresses would be good idea (if the damaged parties haven't done that already).

One more reason to buy saving bonds?

One more reason to throw Snowden in prison for the rest of his life.
 
If they were serious about Chinese espionage they would focus more on the theft of industrial IP.
