Has it been two years already?

To Absent Companions!

Alas, it has been. To absent friends.

Still a fresh kick in the gut sometimes.  Two years already?  The best tribute is that so many of us remember him and still hurt from the loss.  Or maybe that so many who never "met" him online, only through archives, miss him too.

God bless him...

I miss him as if a brother.
What a writer.
What a man.
What a leader.

An inspiration for all of us.

I just hope "the mothership" is restored sometime soon so we can re-read the words of the man so many of us admired and loved.

May God bless him, and his family, and his friends.

I miss Lex... (sniffle)

Its like you read my thoughts! You seem to know so much approximately this, like you wrote the e book in it or something. I believe that you can do with some % to drive the message house a bit, but other than that, that is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.

Absent friends.  May the Lord comfort those who loved them.

Finding the very best portable vaporizer just isn't so hard yet it can be sure that you need being careful of some aspects prior to a selection. The night light and auto turn off have always did wonders, and with the low mist setting I maintain it on, the mist does last for about 20 hours, as promised. Although some experts may say that all dehumidifiers perform equally, we disagree.

Lord, Thank you, for the time that we had with Lex, in our own way.  We thank you for his courage, in the air, at sea and on land. We thank you for his skill in the use of the written word. For him, words could be used in battle or used to make us laugh or bring comfort to a troubled soul.

Lord, thank you, for his family and their willingness to share him with us, we are all better because of him. Lord, one last thing, please stay close to his family. Some of us, never actually met the man, but we read his writing and it spoke volumes.

Amen.

It is too slick to drive, I live 1/2 mile from "The paved road," (as Jeff Foxworthy says,) and I am out of stout. But, I have an entire bottle of Jameson Irish Whisky, I earned my British Airborne Wings in 1986, and... I miss Lex. May God bless his family, and may I one day converse with him... in his element. God bless his friends still here on this plane of existence, and thanks for the memories. Airborne, all the way!

Guinness for strength, Jameson's for courage.  A toast raised to a great man.

Absent Friends!

Always missed, never forgotten.
