"Fast and Furious" IG Report

Taken at face value...? Mr Holder does such an abysmal job of selecting and managing his immediate staff and keeps himself so distant from bad news that he should not hold the job of Attorney General.

The only other conclusion I can see is... there was some was serious lying going on to IG investigators.
"We found it troubling that a case of this magnitude and that affected Mexico so significantly was not directly briefed to the Attorney General. We would usually expect such information to come to the Attorney General through the Office of the Deputy Attorney General . . . [Holder] was not told in December 2010 about the connection between the firearms found at the scene of the shooting and Operation Fast and Furious. Both Acting Deputy Attorney General Grindler and Counsel to the Attorney General and Deputy Chief of Staff Wilkinson were aware of this significant and troubling information by December 17, 2010, but did not believe the information was sufficiently important to alert the Attorney General about it or to make any further inquiry regarding this development."
Hey, it was just mostly dead Mexicans, right?  Well, there was that Border Patrol agent, but hey, cops are there to get shot at, just like soldiers.  Omelet, eggs, right?
"As we describe below, we identified information regarding Operation Fast and Furious that reached the Office of the Attorney General in 2010 but not Attorney General Holder himself."

The Justice Department didn't hide the report on their website - but they sure don't point to it.  Click here to read the report yourself.

Incompetents and/or liars inthe Obama "Department of Justice?"  No!  Tell me it ain't so!

Please check with your family members and others who may be right thinking and ensure that they are registered to vote in their current address, so that we can vote out Obama and his thugs in November.  The leftists are busy registering everyone they can, and the dead, and their pets, a la ACORN, and getting them to say they will show up to vote, and planning to get them to early voting (and often voting too, where possible...) and bussing in folks from adjacent states into the swing states to help.

Too many people move and forget to register, or worry that they might get called for jury duty or don't want to be on "government lists" or other foolish excuses and just dont get around to registering or voting.  We must get them signed up, and herded to the polls, if they are likely to vote the right way.

is the official U.S. government voter information booklet with a universal voter registration form on page 4 that you can print out an mail in. Just follow the instructions for your state found in the rest of the publication. This will take less than five minutes to do. Please pass this information to anyone you know who may never have registered to vote, or who may have moved since they last voted. Our freedom depends on it!

The reports reached his office, on his watch.  It was his responsiblity.

Holder is guilty as original sin. He was in it up to his racist eyeballs. If we had a justice system in this country, worthy of the name, that is, he would be gallows bait.

You can tag this one as "General Disgust with All Politicians". We have seen the same behavior on both sides of the aisle. "What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander."

Huh.  Great minds, and all, right John?

Obama is the Captain. His flunky the AG ran the ship onto the rocks under his command.

Who needs to be canned?

You know I really hate this scapegoat system.  The one where there is a royal screwup and the most petty official resigns first and they work it up slowly to more senior positions and usually never reach the people actually responsible.  Petty criminals really pay for their crimes.  People at the top not only avoid paying but get to keep their cushy positions and stuff up again as well.

My point gezackly, Argent.  It undermines trust in the system.

The same reason I ask for more general officer scalps, too.

The GOFOs should be the first to have their necks placed on the block. Then we can start going down hill through decreasing levels of responsibility meting out condign punishment where appropriate.

In the case of F&F, it would start in the Oval Office and go down from there.
