All That For A Flag?

Yes Michelle - For unlike your husband, many of us do care for the sacrifices done under its gaze.

Old Guard Platoon Leader Matthew Hernández pauses to mourns his friend Sgt. 1st Class Carlos Santos-Silva in front of his grave in section 60 as Hernandez and other soldiers place small American flags at each grave at Arlington National Cemetery to honor the nation's fallen service members in Arlington, Va., Thursday, May 24, 2012. Heroes.  Every one of them under a GI tombstone.  It matters not if they died in combat, training, or an accident.

They served.  They put their lives on the line, defending us all.

Yes, all that, for a flag, Mrs. Obama.

All that and more.
