No, really. I mean, most of us manage to, you bleepin' hypocrites. Oh, I know, you're just too busy... doing the important work of government. And it's all for the children, etc etc etc.
Yadda yadda yadda. Talk to the hand.
It should be a presumptive firing offense when you work for the FedGov if you don't pay your taxes. Sure, stuff happens. And that should be a defense. But you should have to frickin' defend yourself.
A new report just out from the Internal Revenue Service reveals that 36 of President Obama's executive office staff owe the country $833,970 in back taxes. These people working for Mr. Fair Share apparently haven't paid any share, let alone their fair share.
Good golly gee. I know the Republicans won't hammer the Dems with this like they should... because they're not clean, either.

True, but irrelevant. If you take that tack to its logical conclusion, ANY transgression by the GOP renders their critique of Dem behavior as unacceptable. Virtue does not mean perfection, only the constant and honest pursuit thereof. I may not be perfect, but that doesn't deny me the right to point out what I consider heinous behavior by others.
Politics ain't beanbag. The Dems malign ALL opposition as a matter of course (See: Clinton, Bill; Carville, James; Davis, Lanny; et al.) I don't see why the GOP can't. THIS is what it will take to defeat the Chicago Machine.
"... more than 279,000 federal employees and retirees owed $3.4 billion in back income taxes as of Sept. 30, 2010." The total number of *employees* owing taxes is down slightly -- the total *amount* is *up* slightly.
If you consider $100,000,000 a "slight" amount...
Firing offense, hell. When it's on this scale, it should be a hanging offense. Right up there alongside "murder under color of authority."
Or, like Turbo-Tax Timmy, "forgot" to file...
