For all your mortar needs...

...you don't need to go to Vietnam and Bill's buddies there.

Denizens of Castle Argghhh! can get loaner mortars from the Arsenal...

We've got small ones like the ones in Bill's vid...

We've got medium sized ones for those problems that require more effort and you just don't want to walk that far from the barbecue and fridge...

And if the problem is really big, or behind that hill over there, we've got the large economy size as well as suitable-for-truck-bed-mounting rocket launchers.  We can meet your high angle needs...

However, sometimes, a more direct approach is needed.  With these tools, you can bring the HEAT, or simply smoke 'em out, should your pest-removal problems require a more surgical approach.  Now with more cat hair for scale...

Bring the HEAT, bring the flame to your pest control problems.

You need a tactical cat launcher. Nothing stops the enemy like 15 pounds of angry fur and claws and teeth in the face.

Just sayin'.

People Eating Tasty Animals would protest the Tactical Cat launcher, however. Not that we would be gretaly disturbed if they refused to wear fur while they did it. So long, at least, as they don't look like Andrea Dworkin.

I dunno, JM.  There's a lotta windage in that mortar.  I don't think that pestle is going to go too far.  Our pestles fit better.

So wot's in the box with the Division 4.1 Flammable Solid label...?

Food for Heimdall.  Prolly ought to put it *in* the powder container, rather than on it, eh?

Seeing the "Reckless Rifle" reminds me of Sgt Reckless USMC. A real "War Horse" not a cheap Hollywood knock-off.

here is the link http://www.sgtreckless.com/Reckless/About_Reckless.html

I believe we have mentiioned Sgt Reckless before...  nope. {clickety-clickety]  Nope, not on the blog, it musta been in email.

The cat is leaving so it doesn't leave any "Cat Hair" for you to complain about!

Is that an M-109 drive sprocket as wall art?

Yeah, but where's the Davy Crocket?

 Pogue: No. M110

Gary - if I was willing to spend $120K, it would be on a new Castle Technical in the garage.  Frankly, I'm not willing to ask SWWBO if I could spend that kind of money...

Glad to see that you've "embraced diversity."

"Pogue: No. M110"

That would have been my second guess, although I recall you mentioning the M107 in the past as well.  Why do I have the feeling I could spend hours happily rummaging through your basement/garage/barn?  Have you considered actually starting a museum?

Why do I have the feeling I could spend hours happily rummaging through your basement/garage/barn?

Because that's who I aspire to be.  *That* guy.  As for the museum - a group of "us guys" kicked around the idea, but it never went anywhere.

It's an awful lot of work to get one started, and once you do, especially if you go the 501(c)(3) route, suddenly, your stuff isn't yours anymore... and in order to get accredited, you have to let snot-nosed liberally educated punks run roughshod over you and they start insisting on politically correct crap, and then you can't shoot them because you gave them all your guns.

Andy (our son) can deal with it.

OK, somebody has to ask this question, so it might as well be me: Which one is most like the one Gomer Pyle kicked to find the lost mortar round? (I'm guessing something in the 60 mm range.)

Can't answer your question myself, CCO.  I was an Army brat living in France and Germany when Gomer Pyle was on, I've not seen very many episodes.  Of the mortars pictured, either the 60mm or the 81mm (which is the mortar on the right, the other is a Brit 3inch).
