Anyhow... Reader's Digest just came out with its December 2011 edition. In its front cover our First Lady is proudly proclaiming her "Family Values", not only for us the listening public, but also for the hearing impaired.

And what is the family value that she holds in such high esteem? Click HERE for answer.

Joe, you used 1 to many "a." It's spelled with just 5, not 6.
In my opinion, MOO-chele is just as anti-American as her husband, and just as big a crook.
"For the children" has been a punchline for me for some time as in "Hey, lets just give up more of our civil rights because its good for the children."
As you're serving it, Mango, ask 'em if they've ever seen a more *unnatural* conjunction of a pair of manual appendages. They don't even teach that pose in "What to do with your hands when you don't know what to do with your hands" class...

Saluti,
Il Boquisucio
I see nothing wrong with a bit of good natured payback.
The knuckles on his left hand are not parallel to each other, nor are the fingertips pressed against the palm as in ASL "A." Rather the fingers are curled in towards the palm. Also the thumb is turned 90 degrees as compared to the sign. You could argue the point, but you'd have to try very hard.
Alas, his right hand in no way shapes the "L" sign. At all. If Lincoln's right hand were held up in sign position, all four fingers would form a right angle with the fingertips, pointing at the viewer. Three should be pressed flat against the palm (recall the left-hand fingers weren't pressed flat in that manner either), with the index finger straight, pointing up. The thumb should be in the same plane, with a nearly 90 degree angle to the index finger. Even a cursory examination of the linked photo shows this not to be the case.
This sounds like yet another cherished myth, like Jefferson's black mistress, or that the USS Arizona is in comission.
