Methinks they hit the top of the berm. What does the sign say, "Engage Enemy Here"?
 
One thing I notice it that beast looks like it is set up for enemy contact with reactive armor and crew protection.   It is interesting how tanks evolve over their service life.   Not as clean looking as the M1s in the tv adds of the 80s and 90s.   
 
It's also sporting several counter-IED suites and an al fresco turret for the .50 gunner.

*Not* something a dirtbag would want to mess with...
 
Those 'counter-IED' bits are the antennae for their iPod nano suites.
