So, a black congressman makes the unsupported claim that someone spat upon him, and it is taken as Gospel.  But a member of the uniformed services makes the claim and it is bogus.  And, of course, caused by 'outsiders.'

Ah, the beloved 60s, are you sure that's what you want? Many of those males would be a candidate for a “radical attitudes adjustment”. This meant the  Military had to deal with this nonsense. If we were still living at home, the worst thing you could do was to embarrass Dad. He would often tell us, “Don't worry about the pulley the police catching you, worry about me finding out!”.

About this lady from the Coast. Guard, in uniform, this is just plain wrong! The fact of the matter is this,  we are a nation of laws.  This behavior is a violation of those  very same laws.
