Compare and contrast...

These troops...

With these embarassments to their unit.  One wonders if the King's Guard has a "drumming out" ceremony, to go with their guardmount ceremony.  If not, perhaps they should develop one.  I'm sure their Colonel-in-Chief is gravely disappointed (but can probably identify with the troop with 2/327 Infantry...)

I'm confused here.  Where they trying to avoid a drill/exercise, or where they hiding in fear?  If the latter, what exactly was there to fear in Norway this week?  Perhaps I have answered my own question....

Either way it is not exactly behavior you would expect from the King's personal soldiers, is it?

Those troops reputedly gave a VERY good account of themselves when the Germans arrived in their country. Though only armed with bolt-action rifles, they defeated a larger number of better-armed German troops, giving time for the King and his people to escape.

Justthisguy,

That would have been these Guys Fathers or maybe Grandfathers.

Seems it may not be passed down in the Bloodline!

If not they can borrow VMI's...
