Simple. I know guys who used to be 'Structor Pilots with the Flight School who are now plying their trade in Brazil -- they each found a job there because they couldn't find one *here*.

Which is just one more indication that our economic recovery is gonna be at the end of a *looooooooong* road...

 Man, I hate it for your fellow IPs, Bill. I strongly suspect you're right about the length of the road we are on to recovery. That does, however, depend on what happens with the idjits in the District of Corruption. If they won't mend their ways, the road may come to a dead end.

I'm hoping, but not holding my breath.

I do hope that they are paid in Reais, and not in USD.  When I started going to Brasil, the exchange rate was about 3.5 Reais to the Dollar.  Now-a-days it is close to parity.

Good God, has it come to this, when the Brasilian currency is might ans stable and ours looks more and more like theirs used to behave thrity years ago!

And don't get me started on not being able to find a job.  Ever since my career got derailed, I have been a porter/consierge at an apartment building, answered phones in a call center, and sold lawn mowers - All at or close to minimum wage.  @#$&Y^@^&^***!!!

As long as you weren't *making* the calls, Boq.  I hateses the evening cold-callers!  Especially since they're flouting the law (or taking tortured advantage of some tenuous prior "business connection" mostly related to, "We bought this list from someone you did business with, therefore we have a prior relationship" kinda BS.
