The following was received from 1-14 Avn at Fort Rucker in regard to the presentation of the Valorous Unit Award earned by the 14th Avn Bn for Lam Son 719. They are encouraging LS 719 veterans of the 14th Avn Bn to attend. They would like to know how many veterans to expect, so please reply to me or contact 1-14 Avn at Fort Rucker.
Good news, recently we received the Valorous Unit Award Citation and Streamer for the Battalion Colors.
We have since scheduled a ceremony to officially present this award. The ceremony will take place on Friday, 20 May from 1100-1230 at the Aviation Museum on FT Rucker in front of the Vietnam display.
Forty years late, but at least they awarded it while there are still a few vets of the Lam Son Op around to witness it. If any of you were there and would like to attend, leave a comment and I'll put you in touch with Gary via e-mail.

Second, today's the day that the Gang of Reprobates™ plans an outing to observe the Squawking Ritual of the Left-Winged Moonbat Horde. If you're down around Quantico today, stop by and say hiya to Jimbo, Concrete Bob, Mizz Susan, and Crew. Look for the "Che is dead -- get over it" T-shirts.
Bring popcorn.

OK, so there may even be a Ho Chi Minh tee for Reprobate-spotting purposes. He is their hero, right? And he knew what to do with a traitor, too....
*Thank you, Bill*
Have fun with that yard-workin'!
