DOD At Work - Northern Japan

Interesting to see the differences between cultures under the magnifying glass of a disaster.

During the Bangladesh typhoon relief mission, the crews had to toss food and water from a 10-foot hover, because the survivors would mob the aircraft, while in the Pakistan earthquake relief mission, the male survivors would form human chains to pass the supplies to the village distribution point as fast as possible.

Ahh. Do the Japanese even have a clue what to do with MRE's??
