Pol Pot - A Look Back

Recently, I stumbled upon a propaganda film featuring Pol Pot stirring the Pot with his merry band of miscreants.  The film was supposedly taken in 1978, though its grainy black and white quality belies an earlier era.  I wonder whether a Techno-Rave soundtrack would make it more palatable to watch, though.

As I viewed this, I scanned the faces and could not but wonder... which end of the hoe did the majority of these Khmer Rouge end up on?

How inherently vile and murderous must a regime be, that the NVA (no slouches when it comes to being vile and murderous) felt obligated to take them out?

Here's to hoping that the majority in the vid ended up on the sharp end of the Ho.. Chi Minh.

Thought I saw a view of fonda and kerry there in the film for a moment maybe even clinton.

Artifacts of storage and probably being shown a thousand times at KR propaganda fests. The punjis snapped some dormant synapses, though...

When I think of Pol Pot, I think of that movie "The Killing Fields" which I would rather not watch again, and certainly not after sundown. I also think of big piles of human skulls. They have them there still, y'know.
