'Tis the season...

I'm not in a position to assess this beyond face value, other than to say that Casey has been around here a long time, and has never asked for help before, and I have no reason to doubt what he says in this difficult-to-make-request.

Here's the note from Casey:
From the unemployment trenches

It's becoming more common these days to hear stories like this one; I'm out of work, can't get a job, can't pay the water or electrical bill.

Obama's war on our economy has inflicted another casualty. Now it's me whose been out of work for six weeks, and jobs are scarce in Butler County. Yesterday my water service was cut off, and electrical service isn't far behind, not to mention the rent. What savings I did have are gone. It would be $200 just to get the water restored, what with penalties and reconnect fees.

If you have a few extra dollars to spare, it would be a kindness to drop by my blog and click on the PayPal button. I would be deeply grateful for any help that will keep me off the street, not to mention washed. :)

Incidentally, if anyone in the northern Cincinnati/southern Hamilton area is reading this, and hiring, I'll  be glad to send you a resume, or fill out an application.

Act as your conscience dictates.  No one here is keeping track of anything, but you can infer from the fact I put this up that I'm sympathetic.
