A Thought has occurred to me.  How much do the NORKs and the Chinese spend on their military as opposed to social programs, and is it more?  What is their level of national debt?

China releases its annual military budget, but analysts say the official figure is impossibly low for what they're doing. As far as social programs go, I don't think even the abacus-pushers in the People's Palace know the total costs -- since the state already "owns" everything and merely shifts resources around, no accounting system we're familiar with applies, including debt calculation.

The Norks don't want anyone knowing anything about *anything* that goes between the 38th Parallel and the Yalu.

On the Death Metal one, you'd think with that phalanx of RPGs they ought to be able to hit the reviewing stand. Wait, don't tell me all of those are dummies?
