I donated because part of being a "conservative" is putting your money where your mouth is. Maybe it won't keep him from being thrown out of his apartment but maybe it will. In any case, it's my little contribution to fighting the Leviathan by saying, "Keep away, I (we?) got this covered..." That monster might be a windmill against which it is too big to tilt, but that's what makes us Americans--saying "bulls**t" to those who think either a) it's not my problem, or; b) I can't make a difference.
My next stop is the NRO website to contribute to their kitty, too.
