Kidding Around With Nanny

Missa Beth will be glad to know that our armed forces is saving the world, one goat at a time.  Here are a couple of pictures courtesy of the Australian Department of Defense, which were taken during Operation Pacific Partnership 2010.

Australian football has no rules.

Except for the one that requires everybody to get snockered while watching it...

Faculty rules at the University of Wallamalea-
'Rule 1: No pooftahs!"
"Rule 2: I don't wanna catch anyone not drinking!"

Well, that is a country whose Prime Minister once held the World Record for the speed-drinking of beer.

Goats are about my favorite  livestock in the world. They are so funny-looking, you just have to giggle. My landlord keeps a cute kid (prolly a Billy by now) who is an absolute sweety pie. He was bottle-raised from a sickly runt by the wife, and loves to go swimming in their pool. He will accept an index card from me, and ingest it with great gusto and gratitude. Oh, "The goat ate my homework." makes a more sincere narrative than "The dog ate my homework."
