Clearly, the Christian Thing to do is... (Highjacked)

...deliver her from this evil in 2012.

'It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’ Carla Bruni reveals what Michelle Obama REALLY thinks of being First Lady

I promise to do my part!  Will you do yours?

O.K. Boss.  I wasn't going to post this picture. But you just have goaded me.

From left to right: Princess Letizia of Spain, Carla Bruni, and *er* Our First Lady.

This picture was taken right after a photo-op during Michelle's recent jaunt to Marbella Spain.

1)  Following the order named, "Dunno if it's just the angle or what, but somebody needs to make sure she actually eats something";  "Elegance and sensuality make for a nice presentation";  "Uhh... kinda reminds me of a kitchen matron?" and "Sleeves.  Please, for the love of everything holy, SLEEVES!"

2)  Is it just my imagination, or do MO's arms extend an extra hand's length or so farther than her... peers' (just so many ways that term is incorrect, but meh)?  Is she simply hunched over, as the shadow on the upper backs of the other two (less so on the princess, but still there) doesn't appear to be present on the FLOTUS?

3)  Is it wrong that the first thing to pop into my head was "Two ladies and a Neanderthal"?

She [Carla Bruni] is described in the book as "the only one in (Carla's) eyes able to challenge her for the title of the world's sexiest and most glamorous first lady."

The poor lady must be terribly insecure.

And she definitely needs to have her eyes checked...

Heh.  Boq - New Rule.  I can insert shite into *your* posts, you gotta ask to insert shite into *my* posts!

I'd throw the term "Aunt Jemima" out there, but I'm sure I'd get accused of racism.  LOL

I will vote the entire Dems' rolls that they refuse to purge in favor of the Obama's opposition.  I will even CLAP to get rid of her.  Mrs. Obama can't help the way she is built other that to diet and exercise.  She is tall, and has good bone and muscle structure.

Man, Cricket - you got *mugged* by the echo there.   I'll send the gnomes in to clean up the mess.  I think you set a record!

My that is some echo.

I've not really understood the dumpage landed on your First Lady in the area of apearance, nor the particular interest in her.

I pretty much ignore her, as I have done the rest of them.  I do think Boq's pic is a bit of a low blow for snarkage.

As for some of the dumpage however - she's earned a measure of that with some of her public posturing and commentary - though I think she has more directed at her than is probably warranted.

But I'm a well-known squish.

As for what I put up today - hey, if she's in hell, I'll happily help her move somewhere else come 2012.

And I don't doubt she's in a hell of sorts - any First Family is.  Some handle it with more grace than others.

I do agree Boss.  That picture is as a low piece of snarkage as it gets, without being overtly insulting that is.

I'll try and keep the *new* Rulez in mind for the next time.  ;->

I think the apparent difference in the length of their arms is because the other two ladies have their shoulders back, chests out and Mrs. Obama does not.

The snarkage aimed at her, BTW, is a product of the press that is deeply convinced that she's one of - if not the - most beautiful woman in the world.

Pictures such as this do not tend to reinforce that belief.

One of my better friends calls her the "First Wookie."

I can agree with all of the reasons for the emnity M'chelle has earned.  She is hateful, and has certainly abused the FLOTUS status.  Even Hillary Clinton didn't pull the garbage she has.  However, her looks are something she can only do so much on.  *I* would have put her in a less 'bulky' dress.  Something a bit more fitted.

It takes more than position, clothes, good looks and access to money to make a lady or a gentleman.  I have heard her referred to as the 'First Sasquatch,' and find that along the same lines of the ad hominem attack.  We dislike her because she is arrogant, demanding and spoiled.

Ad hominem it most certainly is, insofar as it is used against her or her husband.  However, most of what I see is simply mockery in the same way people make fun of the jerk coworker.  Mean-spirited and irrelevant to the issues at hand?  Sure.  Turnabout of the Alinskyites' favorite tactic?  Definitely.  I'd bring up old saws about turnabout and fair play if I actually cared about "fair" anymore.  Maybe I'll start again after "RAAACIIIST!" stops being the default response to any and all criticism of anything even remotely related to the Obamas, Democrat agenda, big-government policies, government-authorized theft, or neutral colors other than white (excepting when white is attributed positive characteristics).

That is exactly what I mean.  She has used the race card as the merit instead of effectiveness.   If we are going to boot her out on her muscular butt, we have to go for the core issues themselves.
She has acted reprehensively.  I liked her better when she was quiet, and even her organic garden was acceptable, but it didn't resonate with me because it was trendy and what people expected.  Laura Bush, I am sure, had her causes as First Lady, but she did them out of a core belief in them, not because she was a showpiece.  Show me one instance, when Mrs. Laura was First Lady, where she took the dog on a separate jet at taxpayer's expense.  Or indeed, where she abused her position as First Lady.

Finally, and this doesn't gall me to say this, it is only the truth:  When I think of grace under fire, I think of Jacqueline Kennedy.  To see her husband killed before her face, and hold up the way she did under public scrutiny, was amazing.  I could not have had that strength.  A First Lady is just that; the First Lady of the nation.  Our role model.  Mrs. Obama may think her role is hell, but she has no one but her blind ambition to blame.  Be careful what you whine for.  You might get it.

Actually, I have my best feelings about the FLOTUS when looking at her from this angle, as my favorite kind of wummun has what I like to call "the ass of Venus."  Also, this way I don't have to look at her face.

P.s.  "Baby Got Back" is one of my favorite music videos.  Oh, and I do feel sorry for those two anorexic snake-hipped gals.
