'It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’ Carla Bruni reveals what Michelle Obama REALLY thinks of being First Lady
I promise to do my part! Will you do yours?
O.K. Boss. I wasn't going to post this picture. But you just have goaded me.

From left to right: Princess Letizia of Spain, Carla Bruni, and *er* Our First Lady.
This picture was taken right after a photo-op during Michelle's recent jaunt to Marbella Spain.

2) Is it just my imagination, or do MO's arms extend an extra hand's length or so farther than her... peers' (just so many ways that term is incorrect, but meh)? Is she simply hunched over, as the shadow on the upper backs of the other two (less so on the princess, but still there) doesn't appear to be present on the FLOTUS?
3) Is it wrong that the first thing to pop into my head was "Two ladies and a Neanderthal"?
The poor lady must be terribly insecure.
And she definitely needs to have her eyes checked...

I've not really understood the dumpage landed on your First Lady in the area of apearance, nor the particular interest in her.
As for some of the dumpage however - she's earned a measure of that with some of her public posturing and commentary - though I think she has more directed at her than is probably warranted.
But I'm a well-known squish.
As for what I put up today - hey, if she's in hell, I'll happily help her move somewhere else come 2012.
And I don't doubt she's in a hell of sorts - any First Family is. Some handle it with more grace than others.
I'll try and keep the *new* Rulez in mind for the next time. ;->
The snarkage aimed at her, BTW, is a product of the press that is deeply convinced that she's one of - if not the - most beautiful woman in the world.
Pictures such as this do not tend to reinforce that belief.
It takes more than position, clothes, good looks and access to money to make a lady or a gentleman. I have heard her referred to as the 'First Sasquatch,' and find that along the same lines of the ad hominem attack. We dislike her because she is arrogant, demanding and spoiled.
She has acted reprehensively. I liked her better when she was quiet, and even her organic garden was acceptable, but it didn't resonate with me because it was trendy and what people expected. Laura Bush, I am sure, had her causes as First Lady, but she did them out of a core belief in them, not because she was a showpiece. Show me one instance, when Mrs. Laura was First Lady, where she took the dog on a separate jet at taxpayer's expense. Or indeed, where she abused her position as First Lady.
Finally, and this doesn't gall me to say this, it is only the truth: When I think of grace under fire, I think of Jacqueline Kennedy. To see her husband killed before her face, and hold up the way she did under public scrutiny, was amazing. I could not have had that strength. A First Lady is just that; the First Lady of the nation. Our role model. Mrs. Obama may think her role is hell, but she has no one but her blind ambition to blame. Be careful what you whine for. You might get it.
P.s. "Baby Got Back" is one of my favorite music videos. Oh, and I do feel sorry for those two anorexic snake-hipped gals.
