Is it any wonder...

...that an increasing number of people think the President is a Muslim, and that a surprising number of people don't realize Obamacare has already passed?

Oil spill and Iraq combat over, Obama takes break

VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass. – Finally, President Barack Obama can relax on vacation.

The Gulf oil leak is plugged. The last combat troops are out of Iraq. And Congress is on its own summer break.

Still, doubts remain about the strength of the U.S. economy, and Obama tried to tamp them down before his 10-day vacation on Martha's Vineyard. He called on lawmakers to pass a small business aid package when they return next month.

Let us know about that whole no combat thing goes for ya, Chuck. I didn't include the rest of the article, because, like, ya know, 6 brigades still in Iraq isn't newsworthy, so they didn't mention Iraq beyond what you see here.  The war is over, Obama won!  Heh.

I am seriously going to run for President.  How many vacations it that in the last six months?  I haven't had one in 18 months.

Screw Obamacare.  I want his PTO days.
Mmm. many, many PTO days.

Golf, swimming, sunning, sending the wife to Spain, all around grab assedness.

Sweet gig if you can get it.
It's nice to know Obama gets to relax.  Again and Again.  I would like a vacation too.  It's only been 8 years now.

It was what, 1/4 who think he's Muslim?  There's all those other scary things like more than 50% believe the Truther lies of 9/11.  Over 50%! That's a majority making Truthers the most successful conspirators I've ever witnessed.  Then there's those Birthers and the many, many other kooky conspirators.  An enormous whack thought WOMD were found in Iraq.  An enormous whack think there were never WOMD in Iraq, even though the ass actually used them.

I love the US system.  Bush takes the risk.  The US military takes the real risk.  Screwup over screwup they finally make progress and Obama is against it every step of the way.  Now his Royal Touristy gets to bask in glory he not only never earnt, but went out of his way to sabotage.  It's even given the ring of finality which is an illusion but does mean Iraq is now officially not in the news.

Does this make Soldiers the real progressives?

Quick, where my bunker key?
Kat, I'd rather run for what's now called "faithless elector" which was actually the original intention and understanding.
Spammer comment just above. Sic'em, Major!
There were no American combat troops in the Delta when I was there, either -- although one month, the li'l ol' 162d killed more NVA and VC than the entire First Cav did.

The Cav wasn't one bit happy about that news, either...
Finally, President Barack Obama can relax on vacation.

Gee, is it 2009 *again*?
Argent - you nailed it, brother.  If only more of the Dems in the U.S. would have your insight.
