Another view of the DShk from yesterday

Along with a nice view of the weapons carrier behind it! Again, courtesy reader NetBrad. We were actually hoping to inspire Bill to a TINS.... another-view_web.jpg

Does it work?

Did you not read the comments on yesterday's post?

Nice piece o' weaponry, but, y'know, I DO like that truck sitting in the background...  Looks like the one I've got in my garage!

Obviously, I did not. I did go back there just now and read them all. No excuse, Sir!

Another hint is if you look at the barrel, behind the front sight on the bottom of the barrel is the gas port - and there is no tube or rod extending from there to the receiver...  so it isn't serviceable as-is, that's for sure!

Very sweet! You have the bestest toys.

Not mine, Og.  Sadly.  Belong to some guy in North Carolina.

Might be able to get a weapons carrier, but I don't think there are many DShks out there for the having (and are prolly a bit spendy, too).

Bummer. Still, schweet!

At least it's not pointed at me.  That's the way I usually was them.

Woohoo, I'm famous!

That'll make guys who were at places in COP Keating twitchy, too.

Heck, there's a lot of that part of the 'stan that'd make guys like Bill twitchy just thinking about flying up there...where the bad guys can actually put guns like that ABOVE the helos...

Aktchally,  My favorite of Bill's Stories is the one with the Giant Pot Plant in it, which is just hilarious, in a twitchy kind of way.  Having the guys in back yell  at him to break left (or right) so as not to hurt the thing; well, when I read that I really did fall over laughing.

I know where there is a warehouse with about 100 of those sitting in crates.  Unfortunately they are all just waiting to go to a refurb facility and then back out of the country.
