Argghhh!-onauts: 16! No, wait. 17. No, no, 16. I think...

Okay, it's the *seventeenth* 'toon, but only the *sixteenth* Argghhh!-onauts 'toon.

Don't mind me -- I'm still trying to figure out what comes after thirty...

Anyway, since BCR has been biting her nails to the quick waiting for the weekly / bi-monthly / monthly / semiannual / annual / periodic / random 'toon update, I figured I'd better do one for the sake of humanity.

She's on her last fingernail, and you *don't* wanna be around BCR when she's been biting her toenails.

For the benefit of those of you who haven't been around long enough to figure the snark in this subset of the series, BCR is the current target and she's a webcomic freak aficionado, so I've been sneaking in subtle references to the comics she reads at work follows. The pipsqueak in the panels is Ken, a samurai who carries a magic Chinook rotor blade. When I had Ken check his kadoosher at the door, BCR screeched like a scalded owl made plain her disappointment, so I figured some gratuitous violence was in order for this episode.

Hmmmpf. May be time to close the rift in the temporo-spatial continuum.

Were-Kitty is probably getting dizzy hanging from the chandelier...

Kinda reminds me of The Whiteboard. I like it.

Me thinks that King Harold would be non-plused.

Actually, he got non-plussed in 1066...

Yeah - that arrow in the eye?  Guess who was Harold's shield holder... that's why he's got the case of red-eye there in panel two.  Painful memories.

A foul canard! I was still on cleanup detail at Stamford Bridge.

I kept harping on safety glasses, but would Harold listen? Noooooooo. "They make me look like a geek," said he, " 'specially with the white tape you use to hold the eyepieces together..."

Maybe if you'd put the harp down (And why'd you take one of *those* into battle?  Wouldn't a lute have been much easier to carry?) and just told him that you said, "Greek" not "geek"........

*Everybody* needs a Harp now and then...

Harp??? What the helk the Irish have to do with this?  Wouldn't a Norman Bière be more à propos?

*phew*
For a minute there, I was afraid I had unknowingly given birth to a pipsqueak samurai-wannabe....

Thank goodness it was just all the blood pooling in my head.

Oh, and Bill - we're gettin' more'n $1.29 week.  More like, oh, $1.31.

I thought he said 'harpy' and was momentarily confused...

*Not* going there, HF6.

There's a fine line bwtween bravery and stupidity.

Uhhhhhhhh -- there's a *line*?
