So, whatziss?

I'm still working the Reichsrevolver, Kirk. Very busy coupla weeks around here. But, speaking of the Reichsrevolver, there was an observation made that there weren't many pistols made other than semi-autos which had safeties. But there were some.

Isn't that what William of Arabia used to shoot down one of those red paper balloon thingies?

I still don't know what that thing is ... but here is a stranger one.

And here is an example of a revolver that is totally unsafe.

Goodness.  People must be working or something.

It's what you get when a bureaucracy designs a gun.

From someone who knows nothing about guns,

I was going to say a Webley-Fosbery (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webley-Fosbery_Automatic_Revolver):
>>>"The Webley-Fosbery is intended to be carried at full cock, ready to fire. The revolver therefore has the unusual feature of a safety catch, which is found on the left side of the frame at the top of the grip."<<<

But I know it isn't one.  Some other kind of British service revolver?  Obscure Enfield?  Time period 1890-1915.

Cheers,

Nathan

Hmmmm. May be an attempt to introduce a belt-fed pistol, since the hammer looks like it was designed to be fanned...

It's a semi-automatic to automatic selector switch.

Saftey?  Don't need no stinkin safety in Cincinnati......'specially when you just bought a new holster!

Latch that allows a gunstock to be added to make it a short barrl rifle. Not right position for a Fosbury auto pistol.  Do have to admit the trigger spur is odd.
