Last month Chelsea King, a Poway California resident was brutally murdered while jogging the trails of a nearby park. The savage brutality of this crime has shaken the local and San Diego County community down to its core. Until recently, I lived a little over a year in the City of San Diego, and as such am very familiar with all the communities directly affected by this event. My heart goes to her and her family.
In the same feeling of solidarity, this week The U.S. Navy did its part in healing this gaping wound.
