This must be military deco art!  Camos, green trucks w/white walls, blue scaffolds, what appears to be a "modern art" bulls eye hanging in the background...I wonder if they are in the middle of an artistic bullseye!

Actually, the pic came with the upper part of the caption.  I added the lower part.  And decided, all things considered, that it would still read better as AK vice RPK.

But I added the caveat because I knew if I didn't, I would get snarked. 

It turns out I get slandered anyway.

Someone without a Lick O' Sense™ noticed the S-60 serving as a lawn ornament over by the control tower had a drooping elevation mechanism.

Evidently fearing that a jogger would stagger 50 feet off the road, through the double strands of razor wire surrounding it, and bump his-or-her nose on the muzzle, said dimbulb painted the flash suppressor *red*...

I have notice the white side walls on many Chinses military vehicles, just seems really odd to do that even for parade purposes.

White trimming on the wheels and bogeys for their armored vehicles are standard, too.

The Sovs used to do it for the May Day parade -- my theory is they did that to identify the vehicles they were sure would keep running long enough to pass the reviewing stand...

y'all obviously have never seen an M60 or M1 with an M16 or M2HB attached to a bracket fastened on a searchlight mount, Odd that they'd include such a thing on an M1 that has no searchlight, but there it is. The poster is pretty close to the mark though, the full size stuff is pricey.

This might be an argument for having more gurlz in the recon part of the forces, they having better color vision than boyz, thus noticing little discrepancies as seen there, such as whitewalls.

P.s. As far as I know, and from what I've read, girls really do have better color vision than do boys. I mind the time I went shopping for a tie with the now ex-sweety. I picked one up, held it next to the suit; she rolled eyes, shook head, and picked me out another one.

While you may be correct on the merits, JTG, your tie-incident is more likely a matter of taste and and style vice color.
