A test!

I'm not exactly sure why the original author thinks a high level of performance in this topic makes you gay, but - apparently I qualify for a job at Vogue.  Heh.  All it really means is - you grew up enjoying a mainstream cultural artifact.  Apparently that means you're gay.  Of course, give me a related pro/college sports test, and I would probably flunk it, since I don't follow sports, especially after I quit playing them.
Rules:

Decision of the judges (me) will be final.

It must be letter perfect (i.e. exactly as said in the movie), after all, you call yourself gay (or Bi,).

Void where prohibited by law, slightly gayer west of the Mississippi.

Huh.

I didn't actually fill it all in and count up my score, but a whoppin lot of them there things came quick to mind.

Guess I'm a gay. Well, since the numbnuts are pushing to let gays in the military, all I gotta do now is form up some activists to take care of the too old, too tired, too lazy, too busted up and too dysfunctional parts, and I can get back in uniform again.

I do wonder if I'm supposed to start talking with a lisp now?

Wouldn't that be, "...thupposed to thtart talking with a lithp, now?"

How can one live in this society and not know a whole slew of these?  They weren't all exactly chick-flicks, ya know.

I think someones been had.

Frankly, I think the author has some identity issues of his own. After all, how could he come up with these questions if he didn't know the answers?

heh...   Only missed one, too.  Guess I'mone of the lost.  :)

Saw this on Facebook about, 6 months ago I think? My wife took (she the big Movie/televisionphile. I can't tell Geroge Clooney from Dale Hannah. ) it at the time. I had the old movie references (Cool Hand Luke is probably one of my all time favorite movies)

Not sure where the whole gay thing comes from. Unless they are reffering to movies as being a bohemian lifestyle.

Hence why I said had. Without the intention of it being a double inuendo ;)

Ah.  Too subtle for this morning, BS.

That quiz is... gay.

I scored in the high middle.  Most of those movies are really part of General American Culture. In other words, I concur with AFSis.

I apparently don't watch as many movies as John does.  Only got 37.  Agree that these are mostly General Culture references :-)

45. And I didn't watch *any* of them on DVD.

BTW, I agree with AFSis -- in order to truly test your gayness, the quiz should have had questions such as "What is the name of George Clooney's gerbil?" or "How many CDs are in the boxed set of 'Yanni's Greatest Hits'?" or (fill in the blanks) "Clang! Clang! Clang! _________ ___ ________..."*

*extra credit for singing in the blanks

"...went the trolley!
Ding! Ding! Ding! went the bell."

Sillies!

And John makes a reference to Undercover Blues.

I got in the range of 40-50, just so you know.

I see that the Army is looking to protect soldiers like John from themselves: www.breitbart.com/article.php.

Maybe this explains why you hung out in the memorial union bathrooms?

...So familiarity with Clint Eastwood, Robert DeNiro, Humphrey Bogart, and Sean Connery quotes is gay, now? And remembering Maye West and Lauren Bacall in their prime is gay?

Oy...

I gave up at 9.

But then I don't really watch TV. Or Movies.

Prestonius - I was a cop, I had an excuse.  What was yours?

"Maybe this explains why you hung out in the memorial union bathrooms? "

Bwaaaaaahawww, hawwww, hawwww..... pwnd!

Oh, shall the true story ever come out?

Sooooo.... ever get that clamp back?

Nice to know that I am not the only one... in the know...

Bwaaaaaaahaaawa, hawww, hawwwwww.....!

*snerk*

A missing clamp... and bathrooms.

Sounds like we are owed a TINS, John!

Well, he's already qualified to work for Vogue and he got the extra points for the Judy Garland impression. That TINS! may qualify him to intern with Andrew Sullivan...

Forgive the pun:  I scored a 'heterosexual male.'

Pass the popcorn.

Actually, Mizz Cricket, we never had any question about The Engineer's orientation.
