So, I've never been to Branson myself.....but if anything could lure me there......

USS FRANKLIN (CV-13) Reunion – 18-21 March, 2010
The crew of the USS FRANKLIN (CV-13) will hold their 2010 reunion from the 18th to the 21st of March, in Branson, MO.

Specific location: Lodge of the Ozarks.

Special event: Memorial service morning of 19 March. This will be held on the 65th anniversary of the attack off the coast of Japan.

Registration closes 1 March, 2010.

I'm probably close to the same. takes me about an hour to get to Springfield. Might be closer to two hours.

So...Maggie...a bed and a roof, and great hospitality (and a room full of exotic weaponry)!  Should rank just one notch below your "bunch of sailors in one place" priority!

The USS King (DLG-10) (DDG-41) had a reunion there in 2007. Plan to spend some extra days there. Lots to do at reasonable rates.Dozens of shows. Lots of good food. Good people. We are going back on our own this summer.

Maggie - you are inaccurate madam.  There is a cat there that poops on SWWBO's side of the bed, not mine, nor any other bed.

'Sides, you would have a cell to yourself, with a locking door.
