            <description><![CDATA[There are six Medals awarded for actions on this day, all in the modern era, World War II and Vietnam.&nbsp; Any day you earn the Medal is by definition a hard day, but 23 February is a particularly harsh day.&nbsp; Five of the six Medals awarded for actions on this day were posthumous awards.World War II.&nbsp; I can imagine PFC Grabiarz spent a lot of time in the barracks being called &quot;Grab-ass.&quot;&nbsp; And I'm just as sure he was hard enough to take it.&nbsp;&nbsp; Corporal (later Warrant Officer 4) Wilson would spend the rest of his life serving in the...]]></description>
