                <![CDATA[<a href="http://www.kxly.com/news/22606937/detail.html" rel="nofollow"><strong>Canada's last surviving WWI Veteran, Jack Babcock, passed away yesterday.</strong></a><br />
<br />
<em>Jack enlisted in the Canadian Army by lying about his age when he was just 16. <strong>After the war he joined the US military in 1921 and moved to Spokane in 1932, eventually becoming a US citizen in 1946.</strong> He later went on to get his pilot's license when he was 65 and then graduated from high school just a few years ago when he was 95.<br />
