Loves me some 40mm HEDP.  My favorite round back when I used to carry an M16/M203.

A paint company I used to work for in Nashville supplied Milan with the purple phenolic lacquer tthey use to seal primer pockets.  We used to ship them 20-25 gallons of lacquer every three to four months,  At one small drop per primer, a gallon goes a long way.

Ah - The infamous spitback primer.  Those puppies are a bear to make, as they are in effect a miniature hollow charge.  If the sucker is the tiniest bit misaligned, or mis-shapened you just get a DUD.
