Let's Pause for a Brief Message From the Aviation World...

Things have gotten a bit serious around here lately (and rightly so), what with Haiti, the MA Special Election (woo! HOO!), and the like...so I thought a short commercial break for aviators everywhere would be in order.

This is a truly cool little video that gives you some appreciation for how far we've come...and how impressive the handlers of these machines were. Enjoy.

Great little snippet.  I've always loved WW1 aircraft and the brave (lunatics) who flew them.  If you hasn't ever seen the classic film "The Blue Max" w/George Peppard as the lead (Lt. Bruno Stachel) and James Mason as his commanding officer (General Count Von Kluggerman), then go rent/buy it  now.  You won't regret it.

Set in WW1, the dogfights are with real aircraft, not CGI animations, the story line is a compelling tale of duty and honor, and finally, Ursula Andress (Countess Von Kluggerman) is the femme fatale'.... 

The last alone is worth the rental fee.
